Technical requirements

For the hosted cloud-based option you will need :

  • An internet browser such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox
  • An internet connection – broadband is preferred but 3g will also work
  • A subscription to MedDRA (applies to human pharmacovigilance systems only)

You can connect from any Windows PC / laptop or windows-based tablet.

The connection process will download a small program to the memory of your PC. If this is blocked by your firewall contact us and we will send this file to you.

For the Enterprise option you will need:

  • An Oracle (Windows, Unix, Linux) database running on any supported platform (versions 10g or 11g)
  • A Windows 2003 / 2008 server
  • Optionally, thin client delivery middleware such as Citrix, 2X or Windows RDC
  • Client PCs
  • Back-up and other system management tools
  • A subscription to MedDRA (applies to human pharmacovigilance systems only)
